Job Description:
Do you like to stay busy and enjoy the great outdoors? If so, you may want to apply for the Laborer position with the Market Access and Certification Program, we have multiple positions available.
What you'll be doing As a Laborer, you will perform inspection of seed field crops for pathogens and diseases of regulatory concern.
You will collect official samples for submission to the plant health laboratory.
This in the Klamath Fall, Oregon area.
This position will start June 1, 2023, and the season is anticipated to conclude July 15, 2023.
This job posting is for temporary positions and does not include the typical benefits available for permanent employees.
Temporary employees may be eligible for employee health benefits offered through the Public Employees Benefit Board (PEBB) as outlined in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Working conditions Work is performed in the field.
May work extended hours and drive long hours.
May be exposed to hazardous chemicals in the laboratory and in the field.
May carry heavy loads over rough terrain.
May contact hostile individuals and work in remote areas in inclement weather.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
