The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll and general accounting, will lend support with the Accounts Payable functions, and will be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The Payroll Specialist will process daily time records, verifying accuracy and entering into the accounting system, processing twice monthly payrolls, make payroll tax deposits, and process certified payroll forms.
The Accounts Payable functions will include processing invoices, verifying accuracy of data, and getting proper approvals.
The successful candidate will also be expected to provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
Process daily time records.
Maintain accurate payroll records.
Process twice monthly payrolls.
Complete weekly certified payroll reports.
Process payroll tax deposits.
Prepare and process invoices for payment.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain office filing systems.
