The ability to provide exceptional customer service, be positive, reliable, capable and professional are the key attributes that are desired for this position.
The ideal candidate will also be well organized and work well with others in busy environments.
Applicants with a minimum of 1 year experience in a Medical Office will be considered.
Basic duties will include:
Multi-tasking, multi-tasking, multi-tasking Greeting and checking-in patients Updating and confirming demographic and insurance information Accurately quoting and collecting insurance co-pays and known charges Preparing charts Multi-tasking Answering multi-line telephone system Mastering practice management and electronic health record systems Requesting and obtaining insurance authorizations Maintaining organization and professional appearance of personal and common spaces Processing incoming and outgoing faxes, mail and other communications Multi-tasking Triaging medical and vision patients Gaining functional knowledge of all departments of clinic Accurate handling of cash, check and credit card payments and multi-tasking We work hard to foster an enjoyable work environment for all of our staff.
Our offices are extremely fast-paced and we expect our staff to be motivated to get up to speed quickly and work towards a complete knowledge of all aspects of their job and the practice.
