Employees in this position should be able to execute mitigation tasks with little to no guidance or instruction from others.
It is the responsibility of the project manager to ensure that the project is run efficiently and profitable with a focus on customer service.
Additionally, it is their responsibility to make sure that the claim is documented accurately with photos, notes and the estimate represents the work performed.
With customer service being a foundation of this business, employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and interact with customers and clients in a respectful and informative manner.
An Assistant Project Manager can be expected to explain the complete mitigation process to the customers as well as answer questions regarding the work.
They are also expected to interact with insurance representatives to update them on the scope of work and obtain approvals and answer any field questions regarding the work being performed.

Core Job Responsibilities Understand and review the project scope Review and approve estimates Review and approve invoices Schedule projects Handle subcontractor relationships Quality control on projects Manage project cost, budget and responsible for profitability Communicate with customer and insurance representatives Answer questions from insurance and customer Supervise and lead technicians in jobsite tasks Evaluating materials for restorability Document projects through photos and notes Discuss paperwork with customer Sketch floor layouts on properties with extreme accuracy Understand and review RDC reports Respond to after hours on call property emergencies Perform work in a safe manner reducing jobsite hazards Contact subcontractors as needed Other duties as assigned by manager Job Type:
