Continuing education requirements, 20-30 hours a year, most classes are in the evening or Saturday, pay may be offered to complete these trainings.
Required Employment Certifications Job Duties Pass a Background check (Central Background Registry, CBR) from Department of Early Learning and Care Have Infant and Children's First Aid and CPR Certification 20-30 hours a year continuing education Have an Oregon Food Handlers Card Day to Day preparation and activities REQUIRED TRAINING CERTIFICATIONS Union Membership, possible after hiring Take a Free Health and Safety Class Adhering to OCC and facilities policies Take a Free Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Meal Prep and Neglect Class Care responsibilities of children 6 weeks to Take a Infant Safe Sleep Quiz 13 years of age.
Complete Orientation with Little Swans Child Care Minimum of CBR required to interview for the position.
