9K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Job Overview The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the resort.
Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guests' needs and provide them with a welcoming, comfortable, and elevated dining experience.
General Responsibilities Perform preparation tasks as the business requires such as:
restocking, resetting tables, cleaning, polishing glassware, and utensils, etc.
Remain informed on current menu items and options, updates, contents of these items, and items the kitchen has 86'd.
Assist in or assume responsibility of a Host as needed including seating tables, presenting menus, booking reservations, etc.
Maintaining proper dining experience by delivering food and drinks, clearing courses (pre-bussing), presenting menus, assisting in menu selection, auditing food and drink presentation, and verifying accuracy of orders placed and received.
Prepare mixed drinks, provide proper wine service, and demonstrate knowledge of our drink selections and standards for all drinks including cocktails.
Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change, cash handling and providing proper paperwork and reports at the end of each shift.
All servers need to bring a bank sufficient to complete a full shift with minimal change requests from the bar bank, but not less than $100.
Performing cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
Filling in for absent staff and assisting with special events as the business requires.
Extend warm and welcoming greetings to all guests of the Resort.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort.
Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills.

Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous serving experience required.
Excellent oral communication skills required.
Positive interpersonal skills required.
Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
License/

Food Handlers Card OLCC Certification FLSA Information Management Activities None Discretion / Independent Judgment This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances, as a Restaurant Server you will be expected to work with guests and visitors to ensure satisfaction.
A Restaurant Server will have to take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous methods have been unsuccessful.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
